Tommygun Portfolio: Rok - Rok Time Lapse

Rok Construction, working with East Thames Housing, have asked us to document the construction of a new site in East Ham, London. From the initial ground-breaking all the way through to the landscape gardening, we have been videoing progress. The project has been broken down into four stages, each with its own requirements and approach. Stage one was before any real construction took place, where ground was prepared and piling and foundations were put in. We recorded this with both stills and video through regular visits to the site. Once construction had begun, we installed a specialist camera and equipment, onsite, that recorded time-lapse footage of progress. Nearing the end of construction, we moved the cameras to the interior of the building, to record the fitting out and decoration of the housing. The final stage, once the bulk of the work was complete was to go back to hand-held video and stills footage of the finishing touches.
